Natchitoches Police investigate homicide on Sylvan Drive
The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place early Thursday morning on Sylvan Drive.
On August 12, 2021 around 4:14 a.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department responded to the 100 block of Sylvan Drive in reference to an individual being shot at a residence. Upon officers arrival they located a juvenile who was suffering from several gunshot wounds.
The juvenile victim was transported to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center and was later sent to another hospital for further treatment. The victim was pronounced deceased at that hospital.
The Natchitoches Police Department will release more details as they become available.

I think is as parents need to come together in Natchitoches and the surrounding areas for our kids sake. We have to make a stand and give these kids something to do in this trying time. May Hod bless the readers and this family.

Sometimes people their family look to the comments for help answers and even support; that being said redundant comments can be said to yourself not to look like a big shot with nothing to say. I am praying for the family to seek God for strength and peace, and for the ones involved to be arrested. I speak in the mighty name of Jesus there will be no retaliation and a flow of information from surrounding citizens to assist law enforcement for an arrest.

This is very sad we live right in this neighborhood and it could have been one of our kids which he was I think it should have cameras in every neighborhood to help the law enforcement.cause not all the time we hear are see things please protect our kids and neighborhood.
