
Metairie- Ellevate Louisiana, a 501c4 non-profit organization that empowers women leaders throughout Louisiana, recently announced the newly elected slate of Ellevate Louisiana Officers and Board members. The new officers include:
Chair: Willie Mount – former Mayor of Lake Charles and former Louisiana State Senator
Vice Chair: Pilar Blanco Eble – Director of Principal Gifts and External Relations at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette
Treasurer: Kathy Kliebert – former Secretary of Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals
Secretary: Janice Bolton – owner of Bolton Realty
At-Large Directors include Cassie Alsfeld, Valerie Aymond, Diane Baum, Melanie Bronfin, Charmaine Caccioppi, Monique Clark, Donna Fraiche, Valerie Grubb, Julie Schwam Harris, Ann Knapp, Sandra Lindquist, Markey Pierre, Susannah Poljak, Deborah Randolph, Libbie Sonnier, Jessica Starns-Debetaz, Monique Thierry, Traci Thompson, and Mary Patricia Wray.
Ellevate Louisiana has two categories of membership including Sustaining Members and Executive Members, as well as a non-member Supporter level. All are designed for various interest levels. There are also corporate partnerships which come with opportunities to extend membership to corporate employees.
Ellevate LA will also hold its second annual summit on December 13-14 in Lake Charles. Participants will tour Lake Charles, home to major industrial expansions still recovering from Hurricanes Laura and Delta and this year’s freeze and flooding challenges. The summit will also feature informative panel discussions on redistricting and early education funding.
