Middle Lab installs Flags

The 4-H Club of the Middle Lab School, along with their leaders, and some parents, joined the American Legion Auxiliary representatives in marking the graves of veterans with small American Flags in honor of Veterans Day at the American Cemetery.

Veteran Red Lapeyrouse told the students about the anniversary of the US Marine Corp, founded in 1775. Veteran John Masson awarded to each student a white star on a blue field for their service in honoring the veterans at this cemetery. The students learned the meaning of each color of the flag.

The event was under the direction of Mary White and Jo Lapeyrouse of the Auxiliary, along with the
4-H leader, Lisa Wiggins and Extension Agent, Pam Pearce.
