The United States Tennis Association Southern hosted the 2021 Southern Combo Doubles League Championship on December 3-6 in Mobile, AL with more than 1,500 players. The Natchitoches Women’s Combo 55 and over of the 6.5 Women’s League who won the Louisiana State Championship on Nov. 7 attended. Team members from Natchitoches were Missy Marcus Aldredge, Terri Ellis Cunningham, Barbara Duchardt, Beth Morrow Edens, Melanie Faucheux Johnson, Catherine King, Becky Koll, Melanie Gimbert McCain, Cissy Thompson Paz, Patricia Pierson, Rhonda Roge, and Coach Willie Paz.
The Natchitoches team played the following teams: Mississippi (win), Tennessee (win), South Carolina (loss), Alabama (win).
