On April 7, 2022, NPSO School Resource Officer Deputy Trey Johnson spoke with 1st grade students at LP Vaughn Elementary School in Natchitoches about being a community helper according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The 1st graders asked questions on how to become a police officer, firefighter, and other jobs.
Deputies informed them the first was to listen to their parents, teachers, be good students and get an education.
