Eve Roberts, Director at Artisan Center Theater in Hurst, Texas, recently visited Natchitoches, to do research for the theater’s upcoming production of the classic beloved story, Steel Magnolias, written by local resident, Robert Harling.
While here, she had the opportunity to meet with local residents, Pearl Walker and Angie Colwell. They were gracious in spending time with her and sharing information that she believes will better enable her to inspire her all female cast as they tell Robert’s story.
The play originally opened 35 years ago, Off-Broadway at the WPA Theatre, in New York City, on March 28, 1987.
