NSU Basketball Brings Family Fun to the Farmer’s Market Saturday, July 9

The Natchitoches Farmer’s Market continued its tradition of bringing in a wide variety of quality programming to supplement its popular selection of locally produced crafts, produce and food. This week’s bit of synergistic family fun involved NSU Demon basketball.

NSU Women’s Basketball Coach Anna Nims was joined by Men’s Coach Corey Gipson and players from both teams in teaching youngsters’ basketball skills. Children dribbled around obstacles, did agility drills and practiced passing alongside Demon players.

The Natchitoches Farmer’s Market is more than a place to purchase fresh produce. The market, along with programs such as that presented by NSU Basketball, is a place to build family memories. The Farmer’s Market has become a beloved community institution and one of the things that makes life in Natchitoches so special. Come by the market and help support our local farmers and artisans!

NSU Basketball is a class act with some hard-working young men and women who are striving to succeed on, and off, the court. This upcoming season, come out and support our university and the young men and women who represent it so well. Fork ‘em Demons!
