A BACK TO SCHOOL MESSAGE FROM MARTHAVILLE PRINCIPAL

Parents,

Welcome Back! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and I look forward to working with you and your children.
All signs point to another incredible and productive school year. Our skilled and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for your child(ren). We are indeed a caring community with the common goals of nurturing responsible, caring students and promoting high-level learning.

Facilities Update
If you drove past the school this summer, you may have noticed numerous maintenance and construction projects. First, we have completed the much needed update of the elementary building. The library has undergone a total replacement of the floor. Currently the baseball field is getting needed attention. This is scheduled to be finished by the end of September.

Security
Our number one priority is student learning and our number one responsibility is student safety. Please remember “all visitors must check in at the office when coming to school”. Your cooperation in appreciated.

August Schedule
The first day for 1-8 grade students will be August 5. School will begin at 7:40 AM daily and end at 3 PM. One half of Kindergarten will report on August 5 and one half will report on August 8. All Kindergarten will come on August 9. One half of Pre-K will report on August 11 and one half will report on August 12. All Pre-K will come on August 15. Pre-K parents will meet with their teacher on August 4th.

Open House
Marthaville Elem/Jr.Hi will conduct Open House on August 4 from 5-7 PM. Our teachers maintain a high degree of integrity, determination, and courage everyday. We know you are loving, affirming, fair and consistent parents. Your relationship with your children makes a difference in student learning. It is obvious that “Together we can”
