It’s never too early to start packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child!

Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child is a ministry that the whole family can get involved in sharing the Gospel. Walt and Sandi Moore’s granddaughter from Ponchatoula eagerly packed 22 shoeboxes when she was visiting her grandparents in Natchitoches this summer. Olivia Moore, 12 years old, chose an age 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14, chose the sex girl or boy, and then filled shoebox with school supplies, toiletries, toys, clothes, hair accessories, stuff animal, and a “Wow” item.

Each child that receives the shoebox hears the Gospel, in a child friendly story, receives a booklet of the gospel in their own language and is invited to attend The Greatest Journey which is 12 lessons teaching the gospel.

National Collection Week is November 14-21. For more information samaritanspurse.org or contact Brenda Ingram at (318) 471-9415
