NPTCC School Policy

Parents and Guardians,

As we begin the 2022-23 school year, NPTCC feels this is a great time to remind students of some important policies at our school.

Dress Code:

Connections- Connections students will wear khaki pants with a black school shirt.

ASAP- ASAP students will wear khaki pants with a light blue shirt.

Redirection- Redirection students will wear khaki pants with the shirt color of their previous school.

School Jackets-

NPTCC students are permitted to wear school jackets in the following colors: black, gray, white, or light blue. Redirection students are permitted to wear the jacket colors allowed at their previous school. All jackets must be appropriate, without logos or references to drug or tobacco use, gang affiliation, or sexual behavior.

Shoes-

Students are allowed to wear closed-toed shoes, not including work boots, cowboy boots, or Ugg boots. Any type of boot is not permissible on campus for students at any time.

Cellphones/Smartwatches:

Cellphones and smartwatches are also forbidden on NPTCC campus, but students are allowed to turn in their cellphone, or smartwatch, during the Morning Check-in process. If a student is observed to have their cellphone, or smartwatch, after being checked in, the student may face disciplinary action up to suspension from school. All cellphones and smartwatches will be returned to students at the end of the school day. School staff and administration will not be responsible for any damaged or missing devices brought to school at any time.

Tardiness and Late Arrivals:

School begins promptly at 7:45 am. Students arriving after 7:45 am are considered tardy, unless the student arrives on a late bus. Students will be able to sign themselves in at school until 8:30 am. Students arriving after 8:30 am must have a parent, guardian, or an adult listed in JCAMPUS to sign them in for the school day. Parents who sign students in after the third period, 10:15 am, must bring an excuse from a doctor’s office, court, etc… to have the class periods missed excused.

We are looking forward to the beginning of an awesome school year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. Benjamin at (318)357-9410.

Bobby Benjamin
NPTCC Principal
