The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches met on Thursday, October 27 at noon. The meeting’s guest speaker was the new Miss NSU Lady of the Bracelet, Bailey Willis. Willis spoke about her platform, awareness of mental health, anxiety, depression, and suicide. As an added bonus to those present, Willis performed her talent from the Lady of the Bracelet pageant, spoken word where she delivered a beautiful poem tied to her platform.

Immediate past president Kaitlyn Hamm led the meeting, giving updates on recent and upcoming projects. The club is looking forward to handing out candy to participate in Saturday’s Witch Way to Main Street event, held at the Natchitoches Events Center in conjunction with the Natchitoches Farmers Market.
