Kiwanis Collection Drive Service Projects

The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches will be facilitating collection drives for 3 very worthy causes over the next four weeks, all of which have the aim of helping children in our community.  All items can be dropped off at branches of BOM Bank & CityBank as well as the offices of Waskom, Brown, & Associates up to Dec. 8.

The first will be our club’s annual kids coat drive for new or gently used coats to help the students of our school district.  The club will have all donations dry cleaned and then delivered to the Natchitoches Parish School Board for distribution.

The second collection drive will be supporting a fellow service organization’s service project in the Natchitoches community, the Natchitoches Area Jaycee’s Make A Wish Happen toy drive.  The official event is Dec. 9-10 in the Walmart parking lot.

The final collection drive will be supporting the Cane River Food Pantry, where donated cans of vegetables, dressing, boxed food, and other non-perishable items will be given to families during this holiday season.

The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches thanks you in advance for your support of these endeavors
