Chick-fil–A opens restaurant, brings jobs to Natchitoches, honors 100 local heroes

A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant began serving the Natchitoches community on Nov. 17. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Leigh Ann Gilley as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Natchitoches.

As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.

In Natchitoches, Gilley will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full and part-time team members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.

Gilley brings 20 years of Chick-fil-A experience to Natchitoches, having started her career as a Team Member at the age of 16 at a local Chick-fil-A restaurant near her hometown of West Monroe, La. During her years as a Team Member, Gilley received a Chick-fil-A Scholarship to attend the University of Louisiana Monroe, where she earned a degree in accounting in 2008. After graduation, Gilley continued her service for Chick-fil-A across three restaurants in in the Monroe area. Gilley is excited to open Chick-fil-A Natchitoches alongside her husband Lee, who will be helping with day-to-day operations, and their two children, Abigail and Cameron.

“My family and I are honored to join the Natchitoches community and make a difference here,” said Gilley. “We are excited to make a positive impact on our Team Members and guests as we work to be the most caring restaurant in Natchitoches.”

In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the Central Louisiana area to aid in the fight against hunger.

In addition, Chick-fil-A Natchitoches recently recognized 100 local heroes making an impact in the Natchitoches area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.

Gilley’s restaurant will be participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table™ Program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need.

Located at 440 Keyser Ave., across from the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, Chick-fil-A Natchitoches is open for dine-in and carry-out from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the drive-thru open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Natchitoches can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One®tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. 

The Natchitoches restaurant joins 10 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the North Louisiana market.
