Phoenix 38 Masonic Lodge Honors 50 Year Members

Phoenix Lodge #38 recently honored two of its members, Earl Gentry and Theron Magers.  Brothers Gentry and Magers have belonged to the Masonic fraternity for 50 years, and they receive a certificate as well as a lapel pin to recognize their achievement.  To honor the occasion, Jay B. McCallum, Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons for the Grand Lodge of Louisiana, Free & Accepted Masons, visited and presented the awards, along with Worshipful Brother Mark Thomas, Master of Phoenix Lodge #38.  At an open meeting following dinner, MW McCallum discussed Grand Lodge of Louisiana charity programs, the Dyslexia Training Program, the College Scholarship fund, and the Masonic Library, talking about the positive impact the funds have had on communities across the state.
