Natchitoches’ M. R. Weaver Elementary School held its first school dance in the school’s history on Friday, December 9. Over 100 nattily dressed young men and stylishly attired young ladies took to the dance floor in an evening of wholesome fun at the school’s gym.

The dance was part of the school’s “December to Remember” in which the school is hosting a series of different fun events for the children to participate in, learn and grow.

The Natchitoches Parish Journal hopes all of the young men and women of the M. R. Weaver school community had a wonderful time! We also commend the school’s faculty and staff for taking the time and extra effort to provide this opportunity for the children of their school.
