Eleven of Natchitoches Central’s boys competed in the LHSAA Regional powerlifting meet at Grant High School on Feb. 25. The lifters were Ethan Hudson, Hayden Jackson, Fred Jackson, Colby Jett, William Johnson, JeRon Larry, Nathan Lovemore, Noah Martinez, TreVeon Moses, Gavin Nash, and Daigan Scarborough. 

 

The Boys’ Team earned runner up for the Team award and our own Nathan Lovemore waled away with the best lightweight lifter overall. TreVeon Moses earned second place in his weight class. Gavin Nash earned third in his weight class. Ethan Hudson, Hayden Jackson, JeRon Larry, and Nathan Lovemore all earned first place spots in their weight classes and will be going on to compete in the LHSAA State powerlifting meet March 25 in Lafayette.

 

They have worked very hard and we wish them the best of luck at the State meet.
