The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches met for its weekly meeting on March 16.  Club president Craig George opened the meeting and gave updates on upcoming events.  George recognized Russell Meissner with Kiwanian of the Month for February.

 

George updated the club that the paperwork is almost complete on the club’s newest Service Leadership Program (SLP) with the addition of a K-Kids Club at East Natchitoches Elementary School.  A chartering ceremony will be scheduled before the end of the school year.

 

George invited Mary Beth Fair to introduce Jamie Fontana and Dale Jordan of Natchitoches Regional Medical Center (NRMC) Wound Care Center.  Fontana and Jordan spoke about how their operations have grown into their new facilities on the back of the hospital and actively serving several hundred patients a month.
