NSU’s Engineering Technology Department Hosts an Astro, STEM and Robotics Camp

Rockets were flying through the air in front of NSU’s Williamson Hall as 36 young campers, ages 8-14, collected data showing the best launch angle for a long flight. This experiment was just one of many fun hands-on experiments for young scientists at NSU’s Engineering Technology’s Astro, STEM and Robotics camp held June 5-9.

The campers also spent the week building and programing Penguin 2.0 robots under the tutelage of NSU faculty and current Engineering Technology students. The no-cost camp was designed to expand young minds and show the possibilities of the various STEM career fields.
