Dimension Hospitality, a leading hotel management and development company, today announced the appointment of Greg Friedman as CEO following the sudden death of company founder and philanthropist, Sam Friedman, on July 2.
Greg Friedman joined the company in 2000 as General Counsel and most recently served as company President. Greg and Sam focused on growing the company’s portfolio to its current 80 hotels through both hotel development and management contract acquisitions. During this time, he worked closely with Sam on the company’s core initiatives, and in the future he intends to continue the partnership-driven growth that has marked Dimension’s expansion throughout its history.
“Sam was a visionary leader who surrounded himself with tremendous talent, and together we will ensure that Dimension Hospitality continues to grow and thrive in a way that reflects positively on his legacy,” said Greg Friedman. “Our people-centric culture will remain focused on returning exceptional results to our ownership partners, giving talented hoteliers a place to build lifelong careers, and providing memorable guest experiences.”
