The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on July 30 around 2:09 am in the 6000 block of Highway 1 By-Pass.
Natchitoches Police Department officers were dispatched to the 6000 block of Highway 1 By-Pass in reference to two individuals being shot. Upon officers arrival they located the victims suffering from several gunshot wounds.
The victims were transported to a hospital in Rapides Parish where they are listed in stable condition.
This investigation is ongoing and the Natchitoches Police Department will release more details as they become available.
