The Lee Family, along with many friends, celebrated the matriarch of their family, Ms. Nora Velma Chapman Lee. Bishop William Roberson and the Lee Family kicked off the celebration on Aug. 11 with a Gospel Birthday Musical at the NorthStar Missionary B.C. with Special guest singing group BIG SHOW and the quartet boys along with many others. The Lee Family continued the celebration with a Big Family Day on Aug. 12. Lee, worked over 39 years in the Natchitoches Parish School system and for many many years after retiring, she helped with after school tutoring for the city of Natchitoches. Lee is known everywhere for her loud, stern voice of direction. She is loved and known by so many and students all over still thank her today. From the baseball games to the basketball games she could always be heard supporting and encouraging players. Our own Mayor Ronnie Williams presented and has officially named August 10, 2023 in the City of Natchitoches “Nora C. Lee” day. Happy Blessed 90th Birthday Ms. Lee and we wish you many many more
