The Celebration of Life Gala is an annual fundraiser held by the Women’s Resource Center to assist with operating costs and community outreach expenses. The Women’s Resource Center is a pregnancy help clinic that provides clients with services related to pregnancy and parenting completely free of charge. These services include: medical grade pregnancy tests, limited obstetric ultrasounds, one-on-one conversations with client advocates, education classes, material assistance and so much more! As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the WRC is funded completely by donations and private grants. This fundraiser is vital to their continued impact on the Natchitoches Community.
This year’s Gala will feature Pro-Life Speaker Jason Jones, originally from Hawaii. He is now a Hollywood film producer and pro-life activist that will surely leave you educated and inspired for the work that WRC does. WRC has also added an opportunity to join a VIP reception before the event to do a meet and greet with the keynote speaker as well as enjoy yummy appetizers from Natchitoches’ beloved Laysone’s Meat Pie Restaurant. This year the Women’s Resource Center has experienced several changes from staff, to policies and everything in between and they are looking forward to showcasing those changes as well as unveiling a new program during the Gala!
