Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District # 6 responded to the scene of a brush fire on Sept. 10 at 2 pm in the 700 block of Tauzin Island Road off of Hwy. 6 East in the Grand Ecore area near Natchitoches according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriffs Office.
Swepco also responded due to a utility pole involved.
At 2:38 pm fire units cleared the scene.
The statewide burn ban remains in effect.
