Emergency Road Closure: Highway 119, 2.5 miles South of LA 1220

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (LADOTD), advises the public, effective immediately, LA 119 will be closed approximately 2.5 miles south of its intersection with LA 1220. This closure is needed to allow for the installation of a new cross drain at this location. This closure is expected to last approximately 2 days.  

Permit/Detour Section
North bound traffic will continue north to the intersection of LA 119 & LA 494, proceed west on LA 494 to its intersection with LA 1, then proceed south on LA 1 to its intersection with LA 493, then proceed east on LA 493 to LA 119.  

South bound traffic will continue south to the intersection of LA 119 and LA 493, proceed west on LA 493 to its intersection with LA 1, then proceed north on LA 1 to its intersection with LA 494, then proceed east on LA 494 to its intersection with LA 119.
