Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and multiple units from Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #9 responded to NATCOM 911 Center reports of a grass fire on Nov. 7 around 12:24 am in the 900 block of Hart Road north of Campti according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

 

While fire units were responding to the scene, a secondary call, was made to NATCOM 911 Center reporting a structure on fire. Natchitoches Parish Fire District #9 Firefighters reported two mobile homes and a shed were destroyed, a third structure received moderate damage.

 

The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry was contacted to assist after the fire spread into nearby woods burning approximately 2-acres. There were no injuries. Units remained on scene for over 3 hours.
