As we come to the end of my time as your Natchitoches Parish President, please allow me a few moments to thank you for the opportunity you gave me to serve over the last four years. It has been a blessing to get to know thousands of you by name, and to share in the joys and struggles that have brought us together during this administration. I am proud to call Natchitoches Parish my home and look forward to future opportunities to serve this great parish.
While I am certainly disappointed in the outcome of the recent primary election, my spirits are not dampened. I will continue to work and serve along side you as together we work to continue to make Natchitoches Parish an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
Together we will continue the work we began to improve our roads, provide safe/clean drinking water to our residents, bring new businesses to Natchitoches Parish, give our children opportunities to raise their families here. These are long term projects, but together we are up to the task.
Lastly, I have remained silent regarding the false criminal charges brought against me by a political opponent during this election season. Those charges have been reviewed by a Grand Jury and it has been determined those charges must be dismissed. I am happy for this news, but saddened that anyone would press charges fraudulently to gain public favor. However, there is always a “silver lining” to every dark cloud, and in this case that silver lining is the extraordinary support I have received from so many of you through this trying time. Once again, the good people of Natchitoches Parish have shown their extraordinary ability to rise above chaos, and wisely discern the truth in matters of importance.
Together we are all Natchitoches Parish. We are resilient, strong, and committed to working to make every new day better than the last. Forever in your service, I shall remain,
Natchitoches Parish President
