The City of Lights high school basketball tournament at Natchitoches Central wraps up today, with both NCHS teams in action after posting wins Monday.
The Chiefs plastered Loyola 70-34.
The Lady Chiefs were even more dominant against Loyola in a 64-8 romp. But they were tested in their other game, subduing Sulphur 58-42.
Tournament sponsors are the Natchitoches Historic District Development Commission, the City of Natchitoches and Mayor Ronnie Williams Jr., State Farm Insurance agent Jim Pledger, and the Natchitoches Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Monday, players, coaches and fans from many of the participating teams could be seen enjoying downtown Natchitoches in between games.
