The Krewe of Dionysos held its 12th Night Celebration on Jan. 5. Junior Court members for 2024 were also presented. To be eligible for Junior Court, students must be a Senior in High School and be the child or grandchild of a Krewe member. They will also be presented at the Grand Bal on Jan. 27 and will represent the Krewe in the Dionysos XXVI Parade on Feb. 10.
Junior Court Members are as follows:
Alyssa Chandler is the daughter of Sam and Lacy Christophe and the granddaughter of Krewe Member Kim Duke, 2004 Duchess of Destiny. Alyssa is a Senior at Natchitoches Central High School. Alyssa is a proud member of the Lady Chiefs basketball, and a member of the Beta Club.
Annalise Carroll is the daughter of Krewe member Jennifer Carroll and granddaughter of Krewe member Randy Williams. Randy was 2023 King of Dionysos, 2017 Duke of Desire and 2018 Duke of Decadence. Annalise is a Senior at Magnolia Bend Academy. Annalise enjoys fashion designing and working with special needs children. Annalise was escorted by her grandfather, Randy.
Bradly Wilson is the son of Jared and Marie Wilson and the grandson of Krewe Members Pete and Janet Johnson. Janet is a Charter Member of the Krewe and was the Duchess of Dance in 2016. Pete was the 2006 Duke of Dance, 2015 King of Dionysos and Captain in 2017 and 2018. Bradly is a Senior at Alexandria Senior High School and a proud member of the football team and his school choir.
Bradley was escorted by his grandmother, Janet.
Sidney Claire Hicks is the daughter of Steve and Shauna Hicks. Her father Steve is a member of the Krewe. Sidney is a Senior at Natchitoches Central High School and a proud member of the Lady Chiefs Volleyball team and Natchitoches Central Chief Council. She was escorted by her father, Steve.
Kira Calvert is the daughter of Brad and Amber Calvert, and granddaughter of Krewe members Rick and Cheryl Calvert and John Lewis and Peggy Leslie. Her mother Amber was the 2010 Duchess of Desire, and her father Brad was the 2013 Duke of Dance. Her grandmother Cheryl was the 2011 Queen of Dionysos, and her grandfather Rick was the 2004 Duke of Destiny and 2007 King of Dionysos. Kira is a Senior at Magnolia Bend Academy and loves riding horses and fishing. Kira was escorted by her father, Brad.
Maggie Dunn is the daughter of Jeremy and Kelly Dunn. Her mother, Kelly was the 2013 Duchess of Decadence and Jeremy was the Duke of Dance. Maggie is a Senior at Natchitoches Central High School.
She is a proud member of the Lady Chiefs Volleyball Team and is involved in mission trips with her church. Maggie was escorted by her father, Jeremy.
Stella Chasteen is the daughter of Krewe member Holly Stroud. Stella attends Natchitoches Central High School and is a member of the Lady Chiefs Golf Team and the Future Business Leaders of America. She was escorted by Johnny Muckleroy.
Maddie Nicholson is the daughter of Krewe member Megan Nicholson. Maddie is a senior at Natchitoches Central High School. She is a member of the Student Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Maddie was escorted by her mother, Megan.
Dyson Peddy is the son of Krewe members Kirby and David Peddy and grandson of the late Louis Booty, who was Queen Dionysos in 2000. Dyson is a senior at Natchitoches Central High School. He is active in his Church and volunteers in the community through the hospital and Service League. Dyson was escorted by his mother, Kirby.
