The Moondogs are now Members of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame

Natchitoches attorney Rodney Harrington, perhaps more well known by his stage name of Johnny Earthquake, has long been a member of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. His group, The Moondogs, however, were not yet members.

That situation was rectified Saturday, May 11 at the Natchitoches Jazz & R&B Festival as the band and its members were inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. Mr. Mike Shepherd, President of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, presented the well deserved honor to the group on stage before their performance. Johnny Earthquake and the Moondogs and their eclectic selection of favorites have been a ubiquitous presence on the area’s, music scene for over 30 years.

Well done Ladies and Gentlemen!
