Local singer and newest member of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, Trini Triggs, set the romantic standard at a pretty high bar for the rest of us with a well-planned surprise marriage proposal to Ms. Brooke Elise Williams, principal of the Fairview-Alpha school, Saturday, May 11 onstage at the Natchitoches Jazz & R&B Festival.
