Louisiana Lightning 10U wins Border Wars Super State Championship

Bossier City – Louisiana Lighting 10U won 1st. place in the USSSA Border Wars Super State Championship.

The LA Lightning 10U travel ball team from Natchitoches won first place Sunday in the USSSA Border Wars Super State Championship. This was a 2-day tournament held June 1 & 2 at Tinsley Athletic Complex in Bossier City. Teams from Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas played in their bracket.

Lightning won 7-5 with 11 total hits during the championship game. To help solidify the win, Ryne Williams hit a 2-run over the fence homerun in the top of the 3rd inning.
