The Natchitoches Parish Council held a special called meeting on Oct. 1 to pass the following agenda items:
Levy increase millage rate or rates after reassessment and rolling forward not exceeding the maximum authorized by law on Exempted Municipalities (1.69 mills), General Alimony (3.39 mills), Road District 40 (4.95 mills), Health Unit Maintenance (2.910 mills), Public Building (2.910 mills). The only one excluded from the list is the Library (7.760).
Roll forward all millages and approve the levying increase.
Adopt the adjusted millage rate(s)
Set forth the adjusted millage rate{s) and roll forward to millage rate(s) not exceeding the maximum authorized rate(s).
