The City of Natchitoches would like to advise the public that Washington Street will be closed from Texas Street to Highland Park Drive from Wednesday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Oct. 18. The closure will be in effect daily from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, with the area reopening each night. 

This street closure is due to water line repair by the City’s Utility Department. Adhere to detour signs during this time. When traveling near the work zone, motorists are advised to exercise caution and observe all warning signs. 

The City thanks the public for its patience while repairs are underway.
