QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Louisiana Driver’s License
- Dependable, Honest, and Reliable
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for the daily operation of the warehouse. Receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as operating equipment and maintaining a safe and clean work environment
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to complete all job duties and responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Loading and unloading: Loading and unloading trucks
- Receiving and storing: Receiving inventory/supplies, and checking them for quality, quantity, and damage
- Picking/packing/Shipping: Accurately picking and packing orders. Preparing orders for shipping, and loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers
- Inventory: Conducting inventory checks, taking inventory of materials, and reporting discrepancies
- Operating equipment: Operate and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Safety and cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to health and safety regulations
- Communication: Communicating with team members
- Periodically assist with farm tasks
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Stand/Walk/Bend for extended periods of time.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures. (outdoors, walk-in coolers & freezers)
The position is full time with overtime availability during peak crawfish season.
