Witches will take over riverbank this Saturday for trick or treating event, farmers market

The ninth annual Witches Dance will be held this Saturday, Oct. 26 at 10 am on the Natchitoches Riverbank.  Over 20 witches will perform to spooky and familiar Halloween tunes.

The show will feature Natchitoches’ own belly dance troupe, Indigeaux, as well as Begindigeaux, and the Gems from Shreveport.  The Rhythm Warriors will be drumming and the Shadow Master will once again emcee the program.

The show is family friendly and the public is invited to join the party on the Riverbank as the witches kick off Witch Way to Main Street, the City’s trick-or-treating event.

Witch Way to Main Street and Farmers Market are teaming up for a joint event Saturday for a morning of live entertainment, children and pet costume contests, vendors, trick or treating, and more. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult and will be allowed to trick or treat from 10 am – 12 pm on the Downtown Riverbank.
