
The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office Impact Detail, consisting of members from the Natchitoches Drug Enforcement Unit, Criminal Investigations Bureau and Patrol Operations Bureau made multiple arrests that led to the seizure of illegal narcotics, a firearm and stolen property according to Sheriff Stuart Wright.
Those arrested were:
Tyreke McNeal, 20, of New Lllano, La., was arrested after leading deputies on a brief pursuit after it was discovered that he was operating a vehicle that was stolen out of Leesville, La.
Mcneal was booked into LaSalle Corrections Center in Natchitoches charged with:
* Aggravated Flight from officer
* No driver’s license
* Proper equipment required
*Possession of stolen things
*Possession of schedule I
*Reckless operation of vehicle
Demarcus Berguin, 29, of Natchitoches was arrested on two active warrants through the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office. During the traffic stop investigation, a Glock 10mm reported stolen through the Natchitoches Police Department was discovered and seized from the vehicle Berguin was operating.
Berguin was booked into the LaSalle Correctins Center charged with:
*2 Outstanding Natchitoches Parish Warrants
*Possession of a stolen firearm
*Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Kendrick Carpenter, 43, of Natchitoches
*Resisting by providing a false name
* Possession of CDS I (synthetic marijuana)
* Possession of drug paraphernalia
Bryan King, 36, of Natchitoches, La.
*Resisting an Officer
*Obstruction of Justice
The seized evidence will be submitted to the crime lab for analysis.
