Sheriff’s Office welcomes new deputies

 
Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies Rylee Thomas, Hannah Tingle, Breelyn Hamilton and Tristan Graves completed the 95th session of the Alexandria Regional Police Academy in Alexandria on Nov. 14.
 
During the 16-weeks of training that began back in July, the cadets received training in areas of criminal law, defensive tactics, patrol activities, building searches, report writing, first aid, vehicle stops, physical fitness, survival tactics, chemical weapons, DWI, and other law enforcement topics.
 
Deputy Rylee Thomas, earned the David Ezernack Memorial Firearm Award for Maintaining the Highest Firearms Average during the academy session.
 
Deputies Thomas, Tingle, Hamilton and Graves will return to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office for additional in-house training and will be assigned to a field training officer before they are released to patrol and other duties in Natchitoches Parish.
 
Congratulations to Deputies Thomas, Tingle, Hamilton, Graves and all of the academy graduates.
