Sheriff’s deputies promoted

 
Sheriff Stuart Wright announced the promotion of Deputy Collin Crow to the rank of Deputy Sergeant in the NPSO Patrol Operations Bureau and Deputy Lt. Matthew Robertson to the rank of Detective Sgt. in the NPSO Criminal Investigations Bureau.
 
Crow, is a 2009 graduate of Lakeview High School. He also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Northwestern State University in 2014. Sgt. Crow has 12-years law enforcement experience with 6-years full-time service with the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office where he is assigned to the Patrol Operations Bureau and now worked his way up to Patrol Shift “A” Sergeant.
 
Sgt. Crow, is a member of Natchitoches SWAT as a lead medic, first aid and CPR instructor for the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office for the past 10-years. When he is not working for the NPSO, he is normally spending time with family or working as a paramedic with Natchitoches Regional Medical Center Emergency Medical Services.
 
During a recent training session, he instructed deputies on “stop the bleed”/proper tourniquet use and how to administer naloxone/narcan during a possible narcotics overdose emergency event.
 
Sgt. Crow is married and has two children.

Detective Sgt. Robertson, a graduate of Natchitoches Central High School, is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Detective Robertson has 15-years of law enforcement experience, beginning his career with Natchitoches Police Department before transferring to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

While working at the sheriff’s office prior to his new assignment, he worked in the patrol operations bureau where he worked his way up to patrol shift supervisor then to patrol shift commander.

Robertson is a member of Natchitoches SWAT, a Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office firearms instructor and diver for the NPSO Search & Rescue Team.

Sgt. Robertson is married and has one child.
