The Natchitoches Police Department arrested former city employee Nathan Holmes, 21 of Natchitoches, for theft. NPD officers were contacted by the Utility Department on Jan. 10 in reference to an employee stealing motor vehicle fuel. The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigation Division who began their inquiry immediately. Detectives were able to determine that Nathan Holmes used a city issued fuel card to make several improper fuel purchases.
Nathan Holmes was placed under arrest on Jan. 17 by detectives and was issued a City Court summons.
