The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches held their weekly meeting on Thursday, February 6, where club president Brittany Barton gave club updates on future events and projects. Club secretary Craig Caskey led the induction of new member, Preston Durr.
Former club president Don Barker introduced Mona Bamburg and Alan Niette of the Natchitoches Parish Library. Bamburg opened with why a community needs a library and what offerings are now available once you sign up for a free library card. Niette followed up by talking to the calendar of events as well as focusing on the digital side of the library’s capabilities.
