The top-seeded Lakeview Lady Gators play at home tonight for a chance to return to Marsh Madness next week, while the Natchitoches Central Lady Chiefs are on the road for their LHSAA girls basketball playoff quarterfinal game.

The parish playoff matchups:

Non-Select Division I, at Zachary, 6:30 p.m. – No. 6-seeded NCHS (29-4) at No. 3 Zachary (24-4), broadcast on 100.7 FM KZBL.

Non-Select Division IV, at Lakeview HS, 6 p.m. – No. 9 Homer (19-9) at No. 1 Lakeview (27-4), broadcast on 97.5 FM KDBH.

Winners advance to Marsh Madness, the LHSAA’s girls basketball final four tournaments in Hammond next week. The schedule for next week’s games may be announced as early as Friday but likely over the weekend. Ten state championship games will be staged next Friday and Saturday after semifinal games beginning Monday and finishing Thursday.

Boys state playoffs begin Friday night. Both NCHS and Lakeview are in their brackets and are seeded highly enough to receive first-round byes, and will not play until next week, likely Tuesday night, at home.
