Natchitoches Central’s Titus Williams signs to play baseball at Grambling

Natchitoches Central High School senior Titus Williams is taking his baseball career to the next level, signing to play at the collegiate level at Grambling State University, after four years of dedication to the Chiefs’ program.

Williams has been a leader both on and off the field, known for his ability to step up in the biggest moments. As the team’s clutch hitter, he has delivered game-changing plays time and time again, earning the respect of his coaches and teammates.

“Titus is the guy everyone turns to when we need a big hit,” said head baseball coach Regan Kaufman. “He’s a leader in every sense, and he’s everything you could want a young man to be.”

Williams, along with four other NCHS teammates, is part of a historic signing class for the program. Only two players from the school had signed in the past eight years, making this year’s group of five signees a remarkable achievement.

Only 3% of high school baseball players nationwide go on to play Division I baseball, and Natchitoches Central is sending five athletes to the next level this year. Williams’ commitment is a reflection of his hard work, leadership, and the strength of the Chiefs’ baseball program.

With a team GPA above 3.4, Williams has demonstrated excellence both academically and athletically, proving himself as a dominant force on and off the field.

As he embarks on this new chapter, Williams leaves behind a legacy of resilience, leadership, and clutch performances that will be remembered for years to come at NCHS.
