UPDATE: Natchitoches Police arrest individual after vehicle pursuit through East Natchitoches

The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested Samantha Holden (B/F, 38 y.o.a. of Many) after a vehicle pursuit Tuesday afternoon.

Natchitoches Police Department officers were dispatched to 925 Keyser Avenue (Walmart) on April 8 around 11:49 am in reference to a theft in progress. Upon officers arrival to the area they located the suspect vehicle on Keyser Avenue and attempted to stop the car. The vehicle initially stopped in the 500 block of Keyser Avenue but then fled at a high rate of speed. After chasing the car down Keyser Avenue and through several neighborhoods the suspect stopped at the dead end of McClelland Drive near Edna Avenue. Officers were able to place Samantha Holden under arrest without further incident.

Samantha Holden is charged with aggravated flight from an officer, theft, reckless operation, eight counts of general speed, two counts of stop signs, four counts of traffic control signal, nine counts of driving on right side of road, method of turning at intersection and driving in turn lane. She was placed in the LaSalle Corrections / Natchitoches Detention Center.
