The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches met for their weekly meeting on Thursday, April 10th. Club president Brittany Barton opened the meeting with upcoming projects and event discussion. Barton awarded one of the club’s newest members, Dane Terrell with Kiwanian of the Month for March 2025. Barton also presented Greg Burke with the Kiwanian of the Month award for April 2025.
Club president Barton introduced Kiwanian SFC Jerald Kompelien and SSG Jeffrey Acosta of our local US Army Recruiting Station. Kompelien and Acosta shared their experiences with the Army, as well as the amazing opportunities provided to those who enlist.
