Local Grambling State University alumni will host their annual National College (signing) Decision Day on Thursday, May 1 at 6 pm in the Community Commons Area at the Ben D. Johnson Educational Center-400 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. in Natchitoches.

All Natchitoches Parish high school students (2025 graduates) that have been accepted to the historic university for the 2025-2026 school year, will be recognized and participate in the national concept’s ceremony.

“Each year, we are very fortunate to get some of the state’s top students at Grambling from Natchitoches Parish,” said Dr. Tammy RIchardson, president of the Grambling University National Alumni Association.

Scholarship and research opportunities are available at the institution-named in honor of the late/noted business and community leader, Ben D. Johnson Sr.
