St. Mary’s Catholic High School senior Addison Ivy signed her national letter of intent to run track at East Texas Baptist University during a ceremony held in the school gym.
A standout hurdler and state contender, Ivy was celebrated by coaches, teammates, and family for her dedication and hard work.
“Addison is a hard worker and a great athlete who’s shown incredible growth,” said Coach Kedrin Seastrunk. “It’s been an honor to coach her.”
Ivy thanked God, her coaches, and her support system. “None of this would be possible without God,” she said. “I’m thankful for the discipline and growth my coaches have instilled in me.”
The opportunity to continue running track is a great chance for Ivy to go do what she loves.
