A two-vehicle crash occurred on May 21 around 6:45 p.m. on Louisiana Highway 117 at its intersection with Louisiana Highway 478 in the Vowells Mill community, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The incident involved a 2015 Ford Escape and a 1999 Ford F-250. Emergency responders from the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police, and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS arrived on the scene shortly after the collision.
Authorities reported that the injuries sustained in the crash were not life-threatening. Louisiana State Police Troop E led the crash investigation, while Deputies Wilkerson and Middleton assisted with traffic control in the area.
