The Heritage Society’s Fish fry fundraiser did very well this past weekend. We’d like to thank everyone who came out and helped support us.
The Society will be holding a meeting this Thursday, July 3 at 4:30 p.m. in the Heritage building. Everyone is invited to come join us as we work towards another wonderful festival.
The Village meeting that was supposed to take place this past Thursday, June 26 was rescheduled to this Thursday, July 3 at 6 p.m. The agenda is still the same except for the budget portion. Due to the June 30 deadline a special meeting was called on June 27 to amend the 24-25 budget and adopt the proposed 25-26 budget. Both items were adopted.
The Los Adaes Foundation will also be holding a monthly meeting this Thursday, July 3 at 7 p.m. in the historical Methodist church. Everyone feel free to join us.
On Friday, July 4 there will be a 4th of July event in the Robeline park from 5-8 p.m. There will be food
and music to enjoy. There will also be a backpack giveaway during the event.
