Former Natchitoches residents Carrie and David Greene are returning to their hometown to open Greene Orthodontics in fall 2025.
The couple spent the past nine years living in Charleston, Baltimore, and the Dallas–Fort Worth area, where they built lasting friendships and professional experiences. While leaving family and friends in Texas was bittersweet, the Greenes said they are excited to settle once again in the city where their journey began.
David Greene has already been working in Louisiana since February, which meant the family was separated for part of each week. With the move complete, the Greenes said they are grateful to be back together full-time.
Their children have begun settling into local schools. Charli Jo and James started first grade and kindergarten at E-Lab last week, while Abigail is set to begin at Trinity Episcopal School next week. Their youngest, Asher, is not yet in school but is enjoying time with his older siblings.
The family said they look forward to serving the community through Greene Orthodontics and are thankful for the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally in Natchitoches.
