The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the third suspect in a recent Readhimer business burglary has been captured. According to Sheriff Stuart Wright, Dustin Mack was apprehended by Red River Parish Sheriff’s Deputies earlier today.
Mack was wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred early Tuesday morning at a business in Readhimer. Two other suspects, Aimee Rachal, 42 of Alexandria, and Charles “Chase” Nobles, 45 of Goldonna, were previously arrested and are currently being held at the LaSalle Correctional Center/Natchitoches Detention Center on charges related to the incident.
Mack is being transported to the Red River Parish Jail and is expected to be released to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Detectives at a later time. Authorities say he faces charges in both Red River and Natchitoches Parishes.
The ongoing investigation by NPSO Detectives revealed that over $5,000 worth of merchandise—including welding machines, tools, a heater, and other equipment—was stolen during the burglary. Most of the stolen items have since been recovered.
Sheriff Wright expressed his gratitude to the public and partnering agencies for their assistance in the investigation, including the Winn Parish K-9 Team, the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office.
